<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The Research to Extension (R2E) workshop held in Maanzoni, Kenya in October 2022 brought together a core group of people mainly from Research and Extension to meet face-to-face and discuss key issues related to the collaboration between research and extension. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The purpose of the workshop was to align the R2E activities with the Malabo Declarations and the Africa We Want aspirations, which aim to enhance agricultural productivity, improve food security, and reduce poverty in Africa. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The workshop provided a unique opportunity for participants to share their experiences, knowledge and best practices and to establish new partnerships to promote sustainable development in the agricultural sector in Africa.</span></p>
