<p>“How drones can help efficiently in the development of a Climate Smart Village, what are the advantages of this technology?” This is what Drone for Development (D4D), a Department of the Farming and Technology for Africa (FTA ), is showing through the implementation of a small Climate Smart Village (CSV) of 20ha in a remote area of Madagascar, the village of Bakaro. The village is planned to be transformed into a Climate Smart Village with the speed and precision of drone technologies in 3 years. This story focuses on the use of the new technology during three phases of the development of the CSV:</p> <p>(i) the initial mapping stage</p> <p>(ii) the design and execution stage and</p> <p>(iii) the monitoring stage.</p>
