<p>This document on guidelines and standards are to ensure that extension services by all providers meet appropriate standards. The extension service provision guidelines and standards are vital because they hold organizations accountable for the level of service they provide. The guidelines and standards also maintain a level of consistency that allows both client and service providers to judge the current status against the expected standard. Guidelines should be viewed as best practices that should be adhered to by all service providers and enforced by the government. </p>
