<p>This agricultural extension strategy is in response to the government’s commitment to realize an agricultural revolution in the country in line with the National Agriculture Policy (2013) and the National Agricultural Extension Policy (2016). It is intended to effectively and efficiently provide agricultural extension services in order to support sustained progression of smallholder farmers from subsistence agriculture to market-oriented and commercial farming.</p>
