<p>Spoilage of grains in storage occurs due to various factors, and this is common in storage facilities in underdeveloped or developing countries such as Nigeria.<br>Quality control is therefore important to ensure the viability of grain for export local consumption, and germination. The scope of this study was limited to the investigation of the maize storage facility. Research conducted at the department of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Technology University of Ibadan, Oyo State, was used as a case study. </p>
