Up till now, Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) technologies, innovations and management practices (TIMPs) have not been
properly captured in the agricultural policies of the country. This situation makes the agricultural practices in Nigeria to be vulnerable to the vagaries of climate change. All over the country, farmers suffer untold losses due to poor uptake of CSA TIMPs. The CSA TIMPs available are not properly catalogued and harmonized for proper dissemination to farmers through the structured extension system. The link among relevant stakeholders is not properly delineated to ensure availability of CSA TIMPs in a manner that that guarantee easy uptake by farmers.
